My Story
Samuel joined TrebleMakers as a violinist and pianist with 5 years of teaching experience, passionate about helping students reach their goals and enjoy learning music.
Born in Christchurch New Zealand, he moved to Sydney to complete a Bachelors of Music majoring in piano at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. He started both violin and piano at the age of 5 and learned with his aunt, who is a musician herself. They progressed to complete his Diploma in Violin and Piano together by the age of 16. Through his experience as a performer winning international competitions such as the NZCT National Chamber Music Competition with his group Vich Perfect, Samuel now enjoys sharing his knowledge with students.
Outside of music, he enjoys playing soccer, hiking, painting and making short films for his family to enjoy. Samuel is best known for being patient and an enthusiastic tutor. We are excited to have him share his passion for music with our students. Samuel speaks fluent English and Korean.
