My Story
Joshua joined the TrebleMakers team as an accomplished violinist, eager to share his passion for music with students of all ages.

Joshua joined the TrebleMakers team as a dedicated and passionate violin tutor, committed to inspiring students to discover the joy of music making.
Joshua holds an AMusA and LMusA in Violin - reflecting the high level of technical excellence and musical achievement he has attained on the violin. He brings this strong classical foundation to his teaching, helping students build excellent technique while making lessons engaging and enjoyable.

An active performer, Joshua has extensive orchestral experience, most recently serving as Concertmaster of the Northern Sydney Youth Orchestra. He is also a participant in the Australian Youth Orchestra, including the National Music Camp, Young Symphonists, and Summer Season programs. Joshua was awarded the Ted and Sussan Meller Memorial Fund Scholarship through the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and won the Innovation Award at Musica Viva's Strike A Chord Competition for an original composition he wrote and performed.

Joshua has experience teaching private violin students and has served as a violin tutor with the Northern Sydney Youth Orchestra String Ensemble. He is familiar with the AMEB syllabus and experienced in preparing students for graded examinations, giving him a well-rounded understanding of how to support students at every stage of their musical journey.
